I really believe in premarital counseling. You should really learn ahead of time how to communicate what your love languages are, your attachment style, and how to repair your relationship when there is conflict.

Because that’s really the biggest piece: learning how to resolve conflict and end up more connected than before. Because if you don’t have those skills, you’re going to create a lot of harm in your relationship and your marriage and if you try to learn then, it will be too late to go back.
